Courtesy and contact visit from the Permanent Secretary of the Interministerial Mission for Coordination of the Fight against Drugs (MILD) to the Chief Inspector of Security Services and Civi

On Thursday 21 March 2024, at 10am, the Chief Inspector of the Security and Civil Protection Services, Commissaire Général Moussa Boubacar MARIKO, received a visit from the Permanent Secretary of the Interministerial Coordination Mission for the Fight against Drugs, Médecin Colonel Ismaïla MACALOU.
For the occasion, the Chief Inspector was surrounded by some of his fellow inspectors.
This visit was part of a series of courtesy and contact visits to the various central services of the Ministry of Security and Civil Protection.
The Mission Interministérielle de Coordination de la Lutte contre la Drogue was set up within the Ministry of Security and Civil Protection. Its main remit is to draw up and validate national policy on the fight against drugs; to coordinate the actions of ministerial departments, civil society and international organisations in the fight against illicit drug trafficking and drug addiction; and to prepare government decisions at national and international level on the fight against illicit drug trafficking and drug addiction.
During the visit, which took place in a friendly and courteous atmosphere, the two parties had a fruitful exchange of views on the creation, missions and organisation of the European Anti-Drug Agency.
