CEREMONY TO GIVE CRANES VEHICLES TO THE NATIONAL POLICE. A WHELL OF RELIEF FOR ROAD USERS

The courtyard of the Ministry of Security and Civil Protection served as the setting, this morning, for a sober handover of crane-type vehicles to the National Police, for the benefit of the Road Safety Group (GSR). It was the Minister of Security and Civil Protection, Brigadier General Daoud Aly MOHAMMEDINE who presided over this ceremony, in the presence of members of his cabinet, the Director General of the National Police, as well as the heads of the central services of the Ministry of Security and Civil Protection.
In his speech for the occasion, the Minister of Security and Civil Protection, Brigadier General Daoud Aly MOHAMMEDINE recalled
that in addition to the reinforcement of the appropriate means of the GSR, these cranes numbering 03, on acquisition of the national budget, must be stationed at the level of the 03 bridges of the District of Bamako and will be used to intervene promptly in the event of breakdown or accident road traffic. Anything that will decongest road traffic, especially during rush hour.
In addition, Brigadier General Daoud Aly MOHAMMEDINE instructed the Commander of the GSR, the Principal Police Commissioner Panama DEMBÉLÉ and his collaborators to make good use of the said vehicles. "The security forces will continue to benefit from the benevolent attention of the highest authorities of the Transition, so that they are better able to fulfill their mission", concluded the Minister.
A collation put an end to this ceremony.
