DELIVERY OF ROLLING STOCK TO CIVIL DEFENSE

The courtyard of the Ministry of Security and Civil Protection hosted this morning a ceremony to hand over 4-wheeled vehicles to the Civil Protection.
This ceremony was chaired by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Security and Civil Protection, Mr. Oumar SOGOBA, on behalf of the Minister of Security and Civil Protection, Brigadier General Daoud Aly MOHAMMEDINE, assisted by members of the cabinet of the Department and the Director General of Civil Protection, Brigadier General Boukary KODIO.

Financed by the national budget, by this endowment composed of 09 medical ambulances, 05 various intervention vehicles, 04 heavy machinery, the President of the Transition HE Colonel Assimi GOÏTA, Head of State, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, materializes a once again its permanent concern to give our defense and security forces the means to better fulfill the missions assigned to them.
By symbolically handing over the keys to the Director General of Civil Protection, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Security and Civil Protection urged him to make judicious use of this fleet and greater dedication to the task.

It is therefore a commendable effort which, combined with the many measures to improve working and living conditions, illustrates the importance given by the President of the Transition and his Government to the protection of citizens and their property.

A snack put an end to this handover ceremony.
