PROMOTING THE FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION IN THREE IMPORTANTS INSPECTIONS

Towards strengthening collaboration between OCLEI and certain services
As part of strengthening collaboration between the different services involved in the repression and prevention of illicit enrichment and the fight against corruption, the president of the Central Office for the Fight against Illicit Enrichment (OCLEI), Dr. Moumouni Guindo, made a series of visits respectively to the general inspection of armed forces and services, to the inspection of security and civil protection services and finally to the inspection of social affairs on 15, 16 and January 17, 2024. These various visits are part of the inter-service collaboration that OCLEI strives to develop and maintain in the fight against corruption and illicit enrichment in our country.
Assisted by several other Inspectors, the General Inspectorate of the Armed Forces and Services, Brigadier General Brahima Diabaté received the president of the Central Office for the Fight against Illicit Enrichment (OCLEI) at the headquarters of the said structure in order to discuss strengthening collaboration between services. It was the Chief Inspector of Security and Civil Protection Services, the General Commissioner of the Police Brigade, Moussa Boubacar Mariko, surrounded by his close collaborators, who received the president of OCLEI and his delegation
At the social affairs inspection, the Chief Inspector, Mamadou Togo and his Inspector colleagues welcomed the OCLEI delegation, led by its president
Faced with these three (03) personalities and their close collaborators, Dr. Moumouni Guindo reported the message of thanks from the OCLEI Council for the excellent collaboration that these different Inspections have always maintained with the Central Office for the Fight against 'Illicit Enrichment. This excellent collaboration, specifies Dr Guindo, is materialized by the regular transmission of the various Inspection Reports to OCLEI since 2017.
Also, the president of OCLEI recalled the need to strengthen inter-service collaboration in the face of the scourge of corruption and illicit enrichment in our country. This collaboration, it should be remembered, is one of the missions of OCLEI which the Law requires to ensure effective cooperation and consultation of national authorities, directly and indirectly concerned by the fight against illicit enrichment.
The three (03) structures and the Central Office for the Fight against Illicit Enrichment (OCLEI) used their meetings to get to know each other better and put in place mechanisms to strengthen their collaboration, which has now become a textbook case .
