CEREMONY FOR DELIVERING DECORATIONS TO THE MINISTRY OF SECURITY AND CIVIL PROTECTION
The courtyard of the Ministry of Security and Civil Protection served as the setting this morning for a ceremony to award decorations for the year 2023. The event was chaired by the Minister of Security and Protection Civilian, Brigadier General Daoud Aly Mohammedine, in the presence of all the Heads of Central Services of the department, the recipients or their representatives accompanied, for some, by relatives or friends. The ceremonial aspect of the event was provided by the Grand Chancellery of National Orders under the supervision of Brigadier General Amadou Sagafourou GUEYE. The honor went to Lieutenant Abdoulaye DOUMBIA, the Officer of the Grand Chancellery, responsible for leading the ceremonial aspect of the medal ceremony which concerned ten (10) Knights of the National Order and fifteen (15 ) National Merit medalists with Lion Debout effigy. In his intervention, the spokesperson for the recipients, the General Commissioner of the Police Brigade Moussa Boubacar MARIKO first of all addressed, on behalf of his constituents, his sincere thanks to the Minister of Security and Civil Protection, the General of Daoud Aly Mohammedine Brigade. He praised his foresight and his high sense of fairness, with him, the President of the Transition for this testimony of recognition to them, which honors them in more than one way. The Commissioner General of Police Brigade Moussa Boubacar MARIKO will say that the President of the Transition, Head of State, Supreme Leader of the Armed Forces has always known how to reserve a place of choice for rewards of merit, a factor of motivation, success and donation of self for any worker concerned about a job well done. Finally, he will say that the commitment is made in order to redouble our efforts in carrying out daily tasks. As for the Minister of Security and Civil Protection, Brigadier General Daoud Aly Mohammedine, he will say that this ceremony is full of meaning, in the sense that it involves conferring to personnel from his department, the testimonies visible of their merits through their distinctions with different national decorations. Decorations, according to him, which solemnly mark the recognition by the State of the remarkable work accomplished with a single conviction to defend the homeland and protect our compatriots. For the Minister, the recognition of the metite, a factor of encouragement and emulation of the personnel of the Armed and Security Forces, fits with the strategic vision of the President of the Transition, Head of State, Supreme Chief of the Armies, to reward merit and work well done. He invited the recipients to make these qualities, which earned them the decorations, a code of conduct at all times and in all circumstances, in order to preserve this honorable path. The Minister also congratulated all of the Security Forces for the remarkable results they have achieved over the past year, in the context of the operational defense of the territory, the fight against terrorism, insecurity under all circumstances. its forms and trafficking of all kinds. To conclude, he reiterated the firm and constant commitment of the President of the Transition, Head of State, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces to reward merit. Photo sessions and a cocktail brought an end to this ceremony.
