Strengthening the operational capacities of ISSPC inspectors in the development and use of the dashboard in the steering of ISSPC actions

The Inspectorate of Security Services and Civil Protection, in partnership with the Geneva Centre for Security Governance (DCAF), is organizing this Wednesday, February 7, 2024, a three-day training workshop on the development and use of the dashboard in the management of ISSPC actions, for the benefit of ISSPC Inspectors.
The opening ceremony of the proceedings, chaired by the Chief Inspector, the Commissioner General of the Police Brigade Moussa Boubacar MARIKO, took place in the presence of Dr. Oswald PADONOU and Mr. Boubacar THERA, respectively Head of the DCAF Mali Office and Program Officer at DCAF.
In his opening speech, the Chief Inspector recalled that the said training workshop is in line with the policy of the highest authorities of the transition, whose constant concern is to strengthen the operational capacities of the defence and security forces within the framework of governance and security sector reform, particularly the Inspectorate of Security Services and Civil Protection, whose main mission is to assist the services
He expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Minister of Security and Civil Protection, Brigadier General Daoud Aly MOHOMMEDINE who kindly authorized the organization of this workshop which is of paramount importance for the inspectors of the Inspectorate of Security and Civil Protection Services.
The same thanks were extended to the Head of the DCAF Office in Bamako for his constant accompaniment and support to the Inspectorate of Security Services and Civil Protection in strengthening the professional capacities of its staff in terms of training.
Finally, he invited the inspectors to pay much more attention and assiduity to follow up on the work
of this training workshop and the importance of which no longer needs to be demonstrated.
