INSPECTOR'S CASE TOOLS COMPILATION WORKSHOP

On Thursday, July 3, 2025, the conference room of the Inspectorate of Security Services and Civil Protection (ISSPC) hosted a workshop on the compilation of the Inspector's Toolkit, chaired by Chief Inspector, Police Brigade Commissioner General Moussa Boubacar Mariko, and attended by representatives of DCAF and EUCAP-SAHEL Mali.
The organization of this workshop is in line with the policy of strengthening the operational capabilities of the defense and security forces, so strongly advocated by the highest authorities of the Transition.
This workshop, which brought together all ISSPC Inspectors, aimed to conduct discussions on the compilation of all the tools developed during the various training sessions in order to electronically insert them into a set of laptops for use by inspectors. During the work, participants compiled a list of all the tools developed during the various ISSPC training sessions (Power Point presentations, training modules, training reports, manuals and guides developed, as well as the various available legal framework texts).
The ultimate goal is to develop a guide, called the Inspector's Toolkit, which will be made available to Inspectors and will enable any new recruit (inspector) to carry out inspection and monitoring tasks without prior training.
The work concluded with the adoption of a significant number of tools, the compilation of which will allow the Inspector's Toolkit to be developed in the near future.
