MINI WORKSHOP FOR FINALIZING AND PRESENTING THE DASHBOARD FOR THE INSPECTION OF SECURITY AND CIVIL PROTECTION SERVICES
On Thursday, August 7, 2025, the conference room of the Inspectorate of Security Services and Civil Protection (ISSPC) served as the setting for a mini-workshop to finalize and present the dashboard of the Inspectorate of Security Services and Civil Protection, chaired by Chief Inspector, Police Brigade General Commissioner Moussa Boubacar Mariko, and attended by representatives of DCAF and EUCAP-Sahel Mali.
The organization of this workshop, the result of a long process, is part of the ongoing support, guidance, and collaboration that DCAF and EUCAP-Sahel continue to provide to Mali's internal security forces in general and to the ISSPC in particular, in the context of security sector governance and reform. This workshop, which brought together all ISSPC Inspectors, had the primary objective of presenting, reviewing, and explaining the ISSPC dashboard, as well as the tools needed to update and effectively use it.
During the workshop, participants reviewed all of the ISSPC's key missions that must be integral parts of the dashboard, namely compliance verification, operational control, performance verification, verification of the application of material accounting, verification of reported facts, etc.
The ultimate goal is to develop a working tool, called the ISSPC dashboard, which will not only allow these missions to be methodically carried out but also provide a current overview of the overall status of the missions carried out over a given period, and even identify the best-performing department following inspection missions.
The work concluded with the adoption of a significant number of tools, the compilation of which will allow the dashboard to be developed in a short time.
